The annual program began Sunday with the sermon by Rev. H. C. Bass. Monday night featured a music recital under Miss Graham with instrumental pieces and ensemble numbers by students including Dantzler, Rixon, Funk, Franks, Derrick, Weyerts, and others. Tuesday night Rev. H. M. Smith gave the literary address and the senior play followed with a large audience and enthusiastic reception.
A playful school pageant centers on class roles from first through ninth grade with named students and seniors. The scenes depict a Halloween dance, football talk, romance debates, a clubroom den, and a final grammar grades ceremony with honors and diplomas led by Mr. C. K. Moffett.
A. J. Edwards reports the Natatorium ready for use with solid cement walls and bottom, purified warm water, and daily bathing. Admission costs 10 cents, extra for suit rental. Alpine ladies receive first bath free, and children accompanied by parents are free. Ladies day is Thursday 3 to 6 pm with Mrs. Edwards in charge of the key. Sundays doors are locked except 1 to 7 pm.
