The Alpine Avalanche lists commencement week events at Alpine High School including sermons, music recitals, a literary address, senior play and diploma awards with varied admission fees. It also notes public lands listings, party conventions, and local notices on taxes, farming, and community appointments with multiple local names and places.
The Avalanche notes widespread complaints about roaming stock. Citizens recently voted against allowing stock to run at large and urge action. It argues the Commissioners Court can enact and enforce a stock law similar to non incorporated towns to abate the problem.
Notice to applicants. The Alpine Independent School District will meet in regular session Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, May 11, 1912, to act on teaching applications for next year. J. D. Jackson reports G. W. Page re-elected superintendent for one year. Other items include election canvass and new board swearing in.

A town size display by Alpine High School impressed with grade exhibits, map drawings, and product locality. About seventy to eighty parents attended two hours of shows and punch in the afternoon. The report lists yearly averages for tenth grade students and names several pupils with varied arithmetic scores.
