Four concerts chosen for 1966 67 Tri County season

Tri County Community Concert Association selects four programs for 1966 67 after strong membership drive. Opening night is Nov 28 in Marfa with the Duo Romeros guitarists. Folkloristas from Chile to perform at Fort Davis, two Sul Ross College concerts by The Barrs and The Greenwich String Quartet.

Vocational Nursing Program Open in Alpine

Enrollment limited to 15 students for a 12 month course. Graduates may take state LVN exams. The accredited Vocational Nursing School operates under Alpine Public Schools in cooperation with Brewster County Memorial Hospital. Open to high school graduates and women with at least two years of high school. Nursing shortages create opportunities in the field.
