Obituary from Alpine Texas notes the death of Mrs America Walker aged 80, early Texas pioneer born in 1834 in Greenville Kentucky. Capt. J. B. Gillett returns from Kansas City with Hereford bulls and heifers for adjoining counties. Bulls include two under two years at 1000 and 460 dollars, brothers to the 1910 world champion sold for 2600. Heifers bought for Mc Cutcheon Bros of Jeff Davis county.
George W. Baines of Alpine Texas appointed administrator of the estate of M. M. Whisler deceased at a February 16 1914 probate term. He invites all debtors to settle and all creditors to present claims through administrator or attorney J C Brooke. Dated Alpine February 23 1914. Grover W Barna administrator of the estate.
