Easter Cantata at First Methodist Church on Sunday

Alpine People Summoned for Fowler Trial in Sonora
A group of Alpine residents were summoned to Sonora this week to testify as character witnesses in the trial of Sheriff Fowler of Upton County charged with the death of Grass ham Barnett of Alpine. The killing occurred in Rankin and the case was moved to Sutton County. Witnesses from Alpine included A. F. Robinson Charles Livingston Clay Olland Adrian A. Murray P. D. Anderson Ross Miller and EB Townsend.
