The Holland Hotel celebrated a formal opening this week after a renovation totaling about 250000 dollars. A three story annex added last July expands capacity to 70 guest rooms with baths plus a new dining room and spacious banquet hall. The plant includes common battery telephone service and modern conveniences for patrons.
Alpine gains a grand new Holland hotel annex with 70 new rooms, a 200 seat banquet hall, and a modern Coffee Shop. Manager Roy Slagle leads catering with experience from Tulsa and El Paso, while Ward Weakley assists as assistant manager. The project, costing about 120000 beyond the original building, includes a complete phone system and upgraded offices and shops along Holland Avenue.
Mr. Tennant arrives from El Paso where he served as chef steward at the Hotel Orndorf since it opened. He brings years of experience from leading hotels including The Parker at Parker Wyoming, promising the Holland patrons the highest class in cuisine.
