Dow Chemical Bridge Plan Over Rio Grande Near Heath Crossing
Congressman J T Rutherford announced House Foreign Affairs Committee approval of a bill to authorize a Dow Chemical bridge across the Rio Grande near Heath Crossing. The measure requires no public funds and would allow Dow to build maintain and operate the span and an approach between Stillwell Creek and Horse Canyon. Initially for Dow use the bridge could later serve other traffic benefiting Big Bend economy.
