Quarantine Data Given A 1965 Passport Message
A notice from Plant Quarantine Division inspector C Overmiller of USDA at Presidio explains that a new quarantine message will appear in 1965 passports to aid public cooperation in stopping entry of injurious pests. Inspectors continue to intercept pests at ports, including rice borers in straw and nematodes in soil.

Traffic Laws And Vehicle Plate Requirements
State traffic law states any person operating a passenger car or commercial vehicle on public highways without two current registration plates is guilty of a misdemeanor. Exemptions include deaths or out of state vehicles properly registered in their own states. San Antonio Airman Robert Gonzalez, grandson of Fort Davis residents, completed basic training at Lackland AFB and will attend ATC training at Keesler AFB as a communications electronics specialist. He is a 1962 Fort Davis High School graduate. Oxford brothers: Marylyn Briggs Donaldson, daughter of Dr and Mrs F Allen Briggs of Maine, named to Miami University High Honor Deans List.
