New Texas Mining Law Urged By Chamber of Commerce
The Industrial Record reports on a proposed revision of Texas mining law. Judge L H Davis drafted the bill, referred to the mines committee, with scope to consult the Southwest International Miners Association. It copies the United States mining law, reduces annual assessment, and requires a $25 cash locator payment creditable toward patents. The locator may patent anytime, cutting five year waits. The Record will publish the full text when enacted.
