St Stephens Irrigation Project In Alpine Texas
H E Steinmann reports on the St Stephens irrigation dam project southwest of Alpine in Presidio County. The canyon lake will be about 930 feet long with a 102 foot high Amburson type dam and 100 cfs flow. the canal tunnels through rock to serve the St Stephen Valley with planned summer development and a future Orient railway town near the reservoir.
