The Alpine Boy Scouts led by Scoutmaster A F Robinson and assistant Ray Roberts braved the cold water at Hancock Pool around 6 30 pm for a diving display and a brief meeting about a Decoration Day parade. Leroy Langford, El Paso junior diving champion for four years before arriving, sparked enthusiasm as members dispersed to their paths. Three Mexican scouts—Ramon Peres Vicente Garza and Fernando Novelo—along with leader John Uranga, were hosted by A F Robinson and others at the Holland Coffee Shop after dining with the Alpine contingent.
