City ordinance defines disorderly houses including prostitution venues and taverns, bans keeping or allowing such premises, and establishes penalties. It outlines prohibitions on public disturbances, indecent acts, noise, fights, vandalism, vagrancy, animal cruelty, and loitering with enforcement by the City Marshal and police, effective from July 18 1910.
Texas House Joint Resolution No. 7 seeks to amend Section 51 of Article I to authorize aid for indigent disabled Confederate soldiers and their widows and to establish a home for such wives and widows and women who aided the Confederacy. The measure provides income limits, caps on annual appropriations, and directives for a gubernatorial proclamation and funding of up to 500000 and 150000 dollars respectively, with a 1910 election submission.
