Holland Ave Bridge and Paving Project Completed
Work on the West Holland avenue bridge and paving project finished last week and the five block route is now open to traffic. Delays from late January start pushed completion several weeks behind schedule. The project includes a 96 foot arroyo bridge, widening to 40 feet, curbs gutters and paving from Seventh Street to the underpass, with cooperation to secure right of way. Holland Page of Austin was the contractor for 35 974 dollars funded by the State Highway department along U S highways 90 and 67 through Alpine.
