Brewster County Needs More Good Roads
Brewster County faces over 350 automobiles with highway taxes above 42.700 annually. State aid is limited to a fraction of construction costs, not exceeding 1/2 of the cost and restricts road length yearly. Poor roads cost Brewster car owners at least 30,000 per year, prompting a push for better highways to spur Alpine growth and attract business.
