In a January ceremony at the home of Mr and Mrs Lloyd White of Big Lake Miss Judy Mae Thurman wed Robert Davis. The bride daughter of Mrs Ida Mae Thurman Marathon wore a green dress with white accessories and a white carnation corsage. Best man was Johnny Wright matron of honor was Daphne Davis of Big Lake. A reception followed at the groom’s parents’ home. After a short trip they reside in Big Lake where the groom works. Marathon attendees included Mrs Ida Mae Thurman Sam Adams and Georgia Mae Nail.
