Girls Show Top Lambs at Fort Davis 4H Livestock Show

Camping Authority Will Assist With Mitre Peak Expansion Plans
Julian H. Salomon, director of the Planning and Construction Section of the Camping Division on the national Girl Scout staff, will visit Camp Mitre Peak Saturday, Jan. 24, to assist with plans for expansion of the camp. He will spend four days in Midland, Monahans and Alpine working with the camp committee. Salomon is an authority on camp planning and operation, formerly a recreational engineer and field coordinator with the National Park Service, recently appointed as a consultant for its national recreation resources study surveying public and private outdoor areas in the United States.
