Pruett and wife waited in depot for morning to Fort Davis. Tom Burnam reports a two acre Marath land sale for 1000 cash and a planned oil well fifteen miles between Mar and the Rio Grande. Alpine locals discuss progress and social visits with Elizabeth Newton Miss Ellen Dean from San Antonio and Miss Jo Ella Funk.
