Turney Pletcher, Texas University student, stayed holidays with his parents Mr and Mrs Hen FT Pietener. Mrs Bill McNeill left to visit daughter Mrs Corden Holliday studying nursing at Temple. Mr and Mrs Victor Smith hosted mothers Mrs Morgan Smith of Austin and Mrs Anna Smith. Miss Nita West returned from Sterling City after holidays visiting Miss Bernice Priday. Mr and Mrs J F Nichols and children returned from San Antonio after holidays. Mrs S G Ayres of Corpus Christi schools spent holidays here with Mr Ayres Sul Rows College instructor. Mr and Mrs EE Townsend returned after a week with brother Henry and family in Bale Pass, also visited Austin. Mr and Mrs Ira Dugat were en route from San Antonio to California, visiting aunt Mrs Jim Wileeson and Mr Wilson. Mrs Pord Corkran of Austin, secretary to State Superintendent of Education, visited parents W H Punk briefly and returned Austin with Corkran cousin Attorney and Mrs Herbert Mar.
