The county court disposed of cases including Spannell versus Ry Co with judgment for plaintiff, Hord versus Seay dismissed by plaintiff, Dick Co. versus Abbep judgment for plaintiff, Stillwell versus Cordill dismissed, State versus Meek fined $50 and costs in each case, State versus Sheffield dismissed, State versus Cleveland dismissed, State versus Shuler dismissed, and State versus Billalbo and Beach referenced. William H. Stovall night operator at the G H S A depot and a popular Alpine youth died Sunday afternoon after a brief illness from appendicitis. A Hamlin Texas native who moved to Alpine a year ago, he was active in W O W and Masonic lodges and loved the town. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday and he was buried in Alpine cemetery. He is survived by his father S B Stovall of San Angelo and three siblings.
