Marathon Club News and Social Events From Marathon
Marathon notes report Bible study at Mrs Davis home with 14 members, hostessing by Mrs Worthington, and papers by Mrs Chambers and Mrs Meeks. Social events include a high five party, a bridge party, and a wedding in Marathon with Billye Nunley and Gaston Shoemaker. Few outsiders attend a conference, dances, and a service club luncheon upcoming. The piece also mentions visitors from Alpine, Fort Stockton, Valentine, and El Paso, plus local and out-of-town engagements and a housewarming.
