West Texas College of Technology bill signed into law
Austin Feb 10 The bill establishing the West Texas College of Technology with a 1 002 500 appropriation became law after Gov Neff signed it. The ceremony in the Governor’s office included Senators Bledsoe and Chitwood and local leaders. The act authorizes a land grant co educational tech and textile college to be located in western Texas with a nine member board and eminent domain powers. The first 150 000 of the appropriation funds land purchase starting September 1.

House Passes Five Year Deer Protection Law for Brewster County
