The Avalanche publishes opinions from many business leaders about incorporation. Mayors of Dallas Galveston El Paso, plus Alpine residents, voice support or opposition, with promises to vote for or against and notes on expected benefits like sanitation, dust control, fire insurance, and public improvements.
Arrangements are complete for the corner stone laying of the new Presbyterian church next Tuesday at four o'clock. Woodmen of the World with church officers will sponsor the event with a parade of the Alpine Corner Band and a musical program by the Alpine quartet before the ceremony at the church site.

A two week city revival led by Rev Head of El Paso ended Tuesday night with more than twenty five converts joining city denominations. A plan to raise a $10 000 Baptist church fund was approved and over $3 000 was subscribed, with hopes to secure the full amount soon.
Prof. G. W. Page reports daily letters from across the state endorsing the Alpine Summer Normal. He cites the cooperation of public school superintendents in El Paso Uvalde Sanderson Marfa and numerous other towns agreeing to participate.
W H Lease announces candidacy for the District and County Clerk of Brewster County, subject to the Democratic primaries in July. He pledges to serve the people faithfully and to the best of his ability.
