Fort Davis high school auditorium overflowed with families for the Grade school children’s performance of The Magic Christmas Bell by Catherine Allison Christie. Santa Claus was Jackie Ledingham with Patsy Espy and Bill Grubb as helpers and announcers.

Emilio Martinez writes he is in school and fairly healthy living on Harroun farm near Malaga New Mexico. He plans a May vacation trip home to Fort Davis and sends Christmas greetings to old friends. A Fort Davis Alpine Marfa group of Boy Scout leaders camped overnight on W C Kouitz ranch with several leaders certified and Troops 48 and 140 represented ahead of a scheduled Scout week February 6 to 12 1950.

Members of the Presbyterian Women's Missionary society were entertained at the home of Mrs. J. W. Espy on December 15. Yuletide decorations lit the house and a tall Christmas tree with a star topped the music room. Mrs. J.
