New Red Cross Officers Chosen At Meet Monday
Red Cross officers for the coming year were elected at a chamber of commerce meeting Monday. A. A. Murray was chosen as Brewster county chapter chairman with J. K. Nelson as vice chairman. Ise Eva Chattin named secretary and Guy Crawford re-elected treasurer. The executive committee includes Mrs. Skevington, Mrs. Baines, Mrs. Middlebrook, and others listed. Miss Hazel Bratton outlined three months of work and will extend county wide, focusing on Terlingua and Glenn Springs areas previously underserved. A county nursing committee will be formed with Mrs. H W Ferguson as chairman and community representatives named to assist.

Pre-School Circle Hears Lecture On Diet Subject
Miow De Rosetta Thomas addressed the Pre-School Circle at the college clothing annex at 4 o clock on November 26. Her talk used pictures and charts to stress sun exposure and proper nutrition for children. She has studied pre-school child health at many universities across the United States, and a large group of ladies attended.
