Livestock prices at Fort Worth Stock Yards showed general weakness after the holiday lull amid rising receipts and plentiful supplies. Demand for grain pasture stockers slowed due to dry weather, lamb and yearling meat faced competition from pork and beef, while old sheep remained strong for replacements. Good fed steers and yearlings held around 24 to 28 dollars, with lower grades weaker, stockers around 17 to 22, and calves 12 to 24.
