Bridal shower honors Mrs Ted Henderson in Marathon club scene
Miss Hazel Mather and Martha Meeks hosted a bridal shower at the club house with about 50 guests and bingo. Mrs Tom Yarbro’s bridge breakfast followed by continued games, winnings, and a midday lunch. Local residents and visitors noted social events, travel, new homes, and community plans including an August auction for a civic project and a Big Bend film show.
