The Texas Game and Fish Commission announces tentative Trans-Pecos antelope hunting dates October 1 3 and October 5 7 by permit via a public drawing in Austin. Mule deer season West of the Pecos runs November 20 27. Regular dove season proposals cover 47 days north zone and 48 days south zone, starting September 1 and October 1 respectively, with duck season opening first Friday in November. A new hunting and fishing laws digest will be available.
