Two Alpine Daughters Set to Be Neighbors in Italy
Small World Dept notes Alpine residents’ daughters Mrs J C Lewis and Mrs George Lister will soon live as neighbors in Italy two hours apart. The Lewises depart August 12 for Naples where Lewis will teach math and science at Forrest Sherman School. both are Sul Ross graduates. The Listers plan travel as Mr Lister serves as American Embassy staff in Rome.

Bill Williams To Speak In Houston At In Service Workshop
W. E. Bill Williams director of public service at Sul Ross State College will address 1200 vocational agriculture teachers and administrators at the Annual In-Service Education Workshop in Houston on August 13. His talk titled Vocational Agriculture A Glorious Past and a Challenging Future. Williams will also serve as toastmaster for the Awards Breakfast on August 14 where Lt. Gov. Ben Ramsey and K. C. McCasland receive honors. The Area II award goes to McCasland and J. I. Moore earns a 35 year service pin for vocational agriculture teaching.
