Anniversary notes bring Mexico City postcard memories
The piece recalls a honeymoon vignette with a colored postcard from Mexico City's Floating Gardens of Xochimilco. It notes Mrs Forchheimer misread the anniversary trip, updates on Mrs Etta Hargus and Rev Roy May, and lists friends at Joyce Lockhart’s coffee gathering, with fashion mentions and casual social chatter. Eventful details include the Penney’s Dollar Day Sale attendance and remarks about Austin heat.
