Production of Chevrolet Reaches New High Mark
Chevrolet Motor Company released figures showing 1927 production peaked with all time high output for gear shift cars. July total reached 89,501 units, up 76.65 percent from July last year, with seven month output at 697,918 units. If pace continues, 1927 will surpass 1926’s annual total before August.

New Drug Store Opens In Alpine Area
A new drug store opened by A Abinan in the south calves area serves the community with local buyers including Geo Benson of Alpine and Hon Pruett of Peyton ing Co. KI Pao, R A Serna bought two cows and shipped a carload to San Antonio. Miss Nannie Hurnam and Miss Jane Hutter arrived from afar for visits. Families and individuals, including Mins Mary Moberts, J 4 Moberts, Mr J 4 Moberts, and Mary, left for San Antonio for a short stay. Several residents, such as Oma Walker of Fort Stockton and Mr and Mrs John Walker, plan visits, while others journeyed to Presid Texas. Mrs Rand and family hosted visitors from Del Rio, and Miss Marie Simpson bought a new Chrysler coupe from Jones Motor Co. in Marta.
