Marathon items carnival aids cemetery fund in town
The Harper Carnival left town after a week long stay and donated ten percent of its earnings to the Cemetery Association. Repairs to electric light were noted as the town had been without power. An art exhibit at the Gage Hotel showcased Low Teel's Desert Paintings with a paper on Negro schools. The Methodist Missionary Society met with Mrs. Nelson hosting and a program on religion and culture followed, along with a salad course.
