Optimism grows for Big Bend National Park ahead of peak season
In a weekend survey nearly 100 visitors were turned away for housing at Big Bend as occupancy remains strong for this early date. The park’s rising fame and advertising draw more tourists, with Peter Koch’s color films and chamber of commerce efforts boosting publicity.
