Transmission stolen from Kenedy pickup

Funeral services were held in Pilot Point yesterday for H R Wilson former attorney and judge who died Sunday in Brewster County Memorial Hospital He was Judge Wilson came to Alpine in 1947 for his health and lived at the Holland Hut He graduated from Pilot Point High School and the University of Texas and was admitted to the bar at 19 He was Denton city attorney and assistant county attorney from 1908 to 1912 In 1920 Wilson became district attorney for the 13th District later Gov Pat Neff appointed him judge of the 6th District Court in Wichita Falls Wilson was named attorney for the Texas Company in 1930 but resigned in 1947 due to health and moved to Alpine Survivors include his widow sister Mrs John Willis of Tex Midland two sons Robert of Midland and another son and two brothers Frank of Pilot Point and Walter of Sanger and five grandchildren
