Interior Secretary Udall announced a $1,031,000 federal state grant for Davis Mountains State Park improvements. Each government contributes $515,000 under the Federal Land and Water Conservation Act. Neville Haynes of Sul Ross Village owners says construction on 46 additional units has begun. The first 52 units should be ready by June 1, with the 46 more opening around September 1 on the hill north of Sul Ross State College.
