Contest Winners Announced At SR One-Act Play Contest
Sul Ross State College held its Tenth Annual One-Act Play Contest with six student directors and about forty Mask and Slipper players. Jack Scan nell won directing for THE HAND OF SIVA, with notable performances by Foster Granger Terrell Flowers Richard Hill and Jerry Lofton. AT LIBERTY directed by Diane Stillwell took second, while THE COMMAND PERFORMANCE earned third. ROAD INTO THE SUN won three individual awards including best actress for Mariquita Hampton and best actor for Charles Tucker.
