A United States grand jury in Baltimore indicted eighteen of one hundred twenty four Navassa rioters for murder and accessory before the riot with death as the possible penalty. Reports from San Francisco note a three year old trotted a mile in 2 10 4 beating colt records. Japan A Cominco, Missouri Congressman, died in Kansas City aged sixty nine. A man and his wife were found murdered in Clinch County Georgia on the 9th amid robbery theory. Conoxet Guenton who shot Colonel Swope in Lexington died from injuries. Currency changes included more silver, less national bank circulation, and gold declines. Silver certificate circulation rose about 58 000 UY.
Unofficial Ohio returns from eighty four counties place Campbell ahead of Foraker by about eight thousand to ten thousand votes with Democrats expected to carry both state houses. Virginia results indicate Boies leads in most counties, while McKinney shows gains in Virginia and across several states, with Democrats retaining a strong House and Senate presence.
In Haverhill Mass on November 7 Jeremiah Shaw aged 8 and Mary E 6 were found dead buried in a sand bank near Shaw's Lane. The children had been seen playing near the bank and were missed Tuesday forenoon with search continuing until discovery. The bank stood high and dangerous from excavations. The report also notes the Ville Marie Bank of Quebec in Cun bay assigning liabilities of 45000.
