The group plans its headquarters in Cleveland.

Ex Senator H. H. Riddleberger dies at his Winchester Virginia home after a sudden decline. Born in Edinburg Virginia, he served in the Confederate Army, practiced law, edited three papers, and held seats in the House of Delegates and the state Senate as a Readjuster and later Democrat elector. He was noted as an able orator though fond of cordial stimulants.

Two masked men bound and gagged Night Clerk L. L. Roy at the Albuquerque post office early Sunday. They pounded the safe with a sledge hammer, stealing $500 in cash, $1,000 in stamps, and jewelry. All registered bags were cut and first class packages opened. The robbers were in the office for hours before Roy freed himself and raised the alarm.

Deadly gas explosion devastates Noble and Wall area
A natural gas blast in a two story house at the corner of Wall and Noble streets killed six and wounded thirty. Fire from a gas main in Noble Alley spread debris and panic as crowds watched in horror. Names of the deceased include Charles Boch and Frank Seymour with several others unidentified. Pat Merrotte was severely burned. The blast destroyed two adjoining homes and injured many as firemen fought to control the flames.
