Canada GIVES IN Decisive Action in Canal Toll Dispute
Ottawa August 7 The cabinet met to decide the canal tolls dispute abolishing the 18 cent a ton rebate on grain shipped via the St Lawrence canal to Montreal and resuming 20 cent a ton charges on grain moving through Welland or St Lawrence canals.
