Mayor's quiet shadow yields a liquor discovery at Lacy barn

Local notes recount Mayor Wadsworth shadowing four men to the Lacy barn where a light led to a sleeping room upstairs. There he and the marshal found a tiler named Frank Krucher and a companion with a suitcase containing three bottles of beer and a bottle of bitters. Krucher admits the beer is his for personal use, while the bitters are not. He awaits legal action as he claims the room is his town lodging and that he stores his clothes there.
