Value of aerial craft at army tournament unfolds
In Des Moines the first practical demonstration of aerial warfare value will occur at the National Tournament of the United States Army from September 20 to 23. Major Stutsman Lieutenant Lamb and other army aeronauts will conduct daily flights using dirigibles and air craft to attack imaginary fortifications and camps with high explosives, all in view of spectators at the state fair grounds grand stand and surrounding seats capable of hosting over 20,000 people.
