Still Room for Improvement in American Dairying
Prof. Fraser argues American farmers waste land and underutilize cows, urging a shift to higher milk and butter yields. He cites European dairymen as a benchmark, noting the average cow and acre could double outputs with better pastures, soil management, and less overstocking, demanding a rigorous adaptation in farming methods.

Growth of Dairying Brightens Global Food Outlook
Skimmings discuss how bran feeding boosts herd productivity and the rise of hand separators for profit. They argue alfalfa lowers milk costs, urge farmers to raise their own cows, and note dairying’s global growth over 25 years.
