Democrat Alonzo Franklin of Altona celebrated his 97th birthday a week ago last Sunday. He ought to come over to Emmetsburg and spend a day or two with Dennis Ricard and Patrick Mulhearn. Mr Ricard is 111 and Mr Mulhearn is 99. Both are warm hearted old gentlemen and would extend to him a Cead Mille Failte.
