Rev J B Lewis pastor of Brighton Iowa was arrested at the New Harper house in Rock Island after registering with organist Miss Zoe Swain. He was arraigned on a charge of debauching public morals, fined 50 dollars plus costs, and left for Denver. Miss Swain was not prosecuted.
