Death of Mrs C G Byson in Algona
Mrs C G Byson died July 4 after a year with cancer of the stomach. Born September 3 1844 on Fuer Island Denmark she emigrated to America in 1870 and settled in Emporium Pennsylvania where she married C Byson. The family later moved to Algona and surrounding farms. Six children were born, three died in infancy. living: John P Byson Algona Kinney Byson Anoka Minnesota and Anthony Byson Elk River Minnesota. Burial was at River View Cemetery after services at the house and at the Methodist church. She was aged 29? the article notes years. she joined Danish Lutheran earlier and Rev Lundell and Rev Taylor officiated. Other short notices include lost watch and a few ads for household items and clothing.
