St Benedict residents attended church in Algona on Sunday then spent the afternoon along the Des Moines river with fishing stories noting a cautious estimate of no more than two tons of fish. E Wester was in town Saturday aiding in shipping butter. Wester Bros loaded a car at Hobart Sexton Wesley cream eries and shipped to Santa Ana California. The 325 tubs weighed about 20 150 pounds and paid patrons $3 627 in two weeks.
Henry Decker of Rome Ohio shows eggs hatch in a regular beehive acting as an incubator. He notes hive temperature matches his incubator and places twenty eggs in the upper section with cotton cloth and cushions around them. Eighteen of the twenty eggs hatched.
