Black Ferrica a Poultry Tonic Sold by Algona Doctor
A preparation called Black Ferrica has been compounded for 16 to 18 years by RB H Miller a druggist in Algona Iowa and used locally for chicken cholera and other poultry ailments. It is now offered for general distribution by Miller guaranteed under the Food and Drug Act of 1906. It sells in 1 lb cans for 75 cents and can be purchased at druggists or mailed on remittance.
