Joint Board Proceedings Forest City 1909 Drainage Districts
Joint boards of Winnebago and Kossuth counties met December 29 1908 at Algona to adopt resolutions. They named committees to examine drainage districts 8 and 11, authorized defense for the district suit, and directed apportionment statements. Several mileage and per diem payments were approved for county officials and adjourned to Forest City January 12 1909. The State of Town Kossuth County is a District Court for Kossuth County. On January 6 1900 a paper purporting to be the last will of Pulaski Guy Pettibone deceased was filed and opened for probate. A February 17 1908 hearing was appointed for proof and probate at the February term, with all interested persons invited to appear and show cause why the will should not be proven.
