Central looks to extend line beyond Algona over Northwestern bridge
A Courier report alleges a surveying crew between the Iowa Central depot and the Northwestern bridge south and west of the Slagle place, with Central and Northwestern officials giving mixed signals. The piece hints the Central may extend next season by routing under the Northwestern track toward Lotts Creek, Fairville, and Depew, though officials say the work involves Northwestern men and not Central personnel.
