High School Notes on War Speech and Red Cross Drive

At eleven o clock last Tuesday morning February 19 the high school hosted a short address by Mr Colby a New Jersey senator. He was among six chosen for a European investigation party to study the food situation and urged students to conserve food to aid soldiers and allied nations. The talk praised the students for their courage and described wartime events abroad. The Junior Red Cross drive shows about one hundred percent pledge as classes worked separately to support the drive, making the school an active division. The note ends with a call for continued duty and patriotism.
