Iowa Team Wins At International Livestock Judging Contest
The Iowa State college team from Ames won first place in the students judging contest with 3,885 of 5,000 at the International Livestock exposition in Chicago. L. O. Wise and Girton led individuals, with Wise scoring 877 and Girton 841. Gatewood also ranked among the top ten. Iowa dominated in horses and cattle judging, but trailed in sheep and hogs.
